Kids say the darndest things!
Some amusing kid statements can be found in Richard Lederer’s book, Angished English, Dell Publishing, 1997, (Pages 3 – 10).
- Early Egyptian women often wore a garment called a calasiris. It was a sheer dress which started beneath the breasts which hung to the floor.
- Joan of Arc was burnt to a steak.
- Pompeii was destroyed by an overflow of saliva from the Vatican.
- The two kinds of books printed are friction and non-friction.
- Chaucer was the father of English Pottery.
- Rambo was a French poet.
- Hamlet had an edible complex.
